Oh you put a mini-itx motherboard in an ATX only case, you broke the standards law. When I look at this it is like saying if you mod an ATX case your are breaking the standards law. Either that or none of the cable supply companies care about some supposed standards law. I guess apple is breaking the law big time. Will they will send the Cable police to get you?Įverywhere I look, they are advertising these MAC mini Displayport to HDMI cables. Sometimes standards just dumb down products. Maybe they are just jealous and want to force everyone to use HDMI. I say to hell with the people from the standards committee for HDMI. Some people have had cards with 2 DVI plus one displayport and they hooked up three monitors and you could not tell which one was using the displayport adapter cord. I have seen some reviews of people that video cards with displayport and the adapter cords allow very clean pass-through. You man not want sound for a power point.Īparently from my reading I think some Apple/MAC computers have a lot of mini-displayport plugs on their equipment. I dont know if displayport carries sound or not. Looks like they price out around $29 and they may not have the sound component. I think the standards for mini DP are the same for MAC as they are for Windows PC'sĬant vouch for the quality. These say thay are for MACS some of them.
